7Sigma Systems Hires Telecom Veteran to Lead Customer Experience

Professional ·

Sherry Woodruff, who spent years working with internet providers at Adtran, joins 7Sigma Systems as director of customer experience. She will work with existing users of the company's NOC360 platform.

7Sigma Systems, a Minnetonka, Minnesota company that makes software for internet service providers, has named Sherry Woodruff its director of customer experience. The appointment was announced on October 13, 2026. Woodruff has spent close to 30 years in the telecom industry.

From Adtran to 7Sigma

Woodruff comes from Adtran, where she first worked as a customer success manager and later as manager of services SaaS solutions. In those positions she dealt with about 500 internet providers, helping them adopt products and keeping an eye on how satisfied they were. At 7Sigma her work will centre on companies that already run NOC360, the firm's network intelligence platform. The task is to improve their day-to-day experience with the software and help them get more out of it, so that the providers in turn can serve their own subscribers better.

Chief executive Frank Kaim said the company wants to stand out for customer experience as much as for products and services, and that Woodruff's record of supporting internet providers makes her well placed to push that aim forward. Woodruff said she was joining at a "pivotal moment" and that the company's habit of staying close to its customers is something she cares about and intends to reinforce.

Where the company stands

The hire follows the release of NOC360 Network Monitoring, a product built specifically for ISPs, and comes as 7Sigma continues to add capabilities to the wider NOC360 platform. The software gives providers a view of network faults, capacity and revenue opportunities in one place, and it is designed to connect with whatever business and operations support systems a provider already uses. 7Sigma says it has more than 25 years of experience in the sector and serves over 350 customers, with tools aimed at raising revenue, cutting operating costs, lowering risk and keeping subscribers satisfied.
