Education ·

The University of Doha for Science and Technology is accepting applications for bachelor's, master's and diploma programmes. Students from Qatar and abroad can apply online.

The University of Doha for Science and Technology (UDST) has opened admissions for the Fall 2027 semester. It is inviting students from Qatar and around the world to apply to what it describes as the country's first applied university.

In a statement issued on Sunday, the university said it offers more than 12 scholarship categories alongside tuition fee exemptions for eligible students. Qatari citizens and children of Qatari women remain eligible for tuition fee exemptions on bachelor's programmes, provided they meet the applicable requirements.

The university invited applicants to review the financial support options and eligibility requirements as they prepare their applications. Master's, bachelor's and diploma programmes can all be applied for online through the university's website, udst.edu.qa.

Applied learning

UDST has five colleges and more than 80 academic programmes. They are designed around the changing needs of industry sectors and of Qatar's labour market. The university's applied-learning approach pairs academic knowledge with practical experience, so that graduates have the skills and competencies for their chosen fields.

UDST President Dr. Salem bin Nasser Al Naemi said the university believes high-quality applied education opens opportunities for people to realise their potential and contribute to their communities. Through its programmes and scholarships, he said, it remains committed to supporting talented students as they pursue their ambitions and prepare for rewarding careers.

He also pointed to the student body. "The international student community is an important part of the learning experience at the University, bringing together students from diverse backgrounds and more than 93 countries. We welcome students from Qatar and around the world to join a learning environment that combines hands-on education, labour-market needs and vibrant campus life," he added.
