SprintRay presented the Foundation wireless intraoral scanner with ScanOS software, the compact Nano Series for printing, washing and curing, and a new restorative resin developed with GC Corporation.

Dental technology company SprintRay used its 3DNext 2026 event in Miami Beach to present products that take it beyond 3D printers: a wireless intraoral scanner called Foundation with accompanying software, ScanOS; a compact set of chairside devices named Nano Series; and a broader materials partnership with GC Corporation. The company says more than 20 million dental parts have been produced with its equipment worldwide.

Scanning joins the workflow

Foundation is a full-color wireless scanner made for ScanOS, a software layer tied into SprintRay's cloud dashboard. A Scan tab now appears next to the design and production tools, and finished scans land in the cloud ready for the next stage, so a practice no longer has to export or upload files separately. Co-founder and chief executive Amir Mansouri said that scanning and printing had previously been linked through third-party integrations, which left practices switching between systems. Foundation will be sold first in the United States, with initial shipments expected in November 2026.

Nano Series and a new material

The Nano Series consists of three units, NanoPrint, NanoWash and NanoCure, which together handle printing, washing and curing and take up less than 30 inches of counter space. NanoPrint has a 385 nm light engine, NanoWash washes and dries parts automatically, and NanoCure finishes post-processing; AutoPrint and Job Handoff functions pass case information from one step to the next. SprintRay says its data show that over 80 percent of chairside print jobs are for one patient and one case, which is the use the small line targets, while the existing Pro Series remains the option for higher volumes. Shipments are due to start in November 2026 across five markets โ€” the United States, Canada, the European Union, Australia and New Zealand โ€” depending on regional regulatory requirements; NanoWash is not included in the Canadian launch.

With GC Corporation, SprintRay announced GC GRADIA PREMi, a hybrid ceramic restorative resin developed for its capsule-based Midas Digital Press. The goal is to give dentists more material choices for definitive chairside restorations. Clinical indications and regional availability still depend on GC's final product labeling and regulatory review. "Openness matters, but so does validation," Mansouri said of the company's practice of developing materials with established partners.
